> Strategic case management of compensable and non-compensable clients> Development and implementation of suitable/applicable injury prevention strategies> Delivery of appropriate personal counseling, in line with the bio psycho-social rehabilitation approach> Development and implementation of appropriate rehabilitation program/return to work plans in conjunction with key stakeholders> Undertake initial needs assessments to evaluate a workers rehabilitation needs that are used as a basis to determine the most appropriate actions and services to be included in the return to work plan> Return to work preparation that includes the formulation, co-ordination and implementation of appropriate rehabilitation activities, inclusive of counseling, requiring preparation of the worker to commence a return to work> Alternative strategies to improve the worker skills and abilities to increase their ability to gain or maintain employment, i.e. co-ordination of any necessary/approved training, psycho-social barrier interventions

> Identification of barriers and risks based on the bio-psycho social rehabilitation model that includes suitable counseling support> Liaise with clients, employers, medical, and paramedical staff to review progress, treatment plans, and prognosis> Provide pain management and support counseling to clients> Ensure occupational safety issues are addressed through undertaking of worksite and/or Activities of daily Living assessments> Developing effective working relationships with clients to ensure open and honest communication about all aspects of return to work> Arranging formal on-the-job training for clients in line with their rehabilitation goals> Negotiation and management of the placement of clients into suitable paid employment or back into the community after identifying and coordinating the client's required training

> Strategic case management of Local Government claims> Development and implementation of suitable/applicable injury prevention strategies> Ongoing management of a dedicated portfolio of Councils, local and regional with ongoing high level of injury management service and support> Manage the rehabilitation department at JLT to ensure costs are maintained, staff are delivering high quality services to customers and exempt license is maintained through constant revision and development of appropriate documentation> Fortnightly management meetings involving ongoing assessments and updates of policies and procedures to ensure exempt compliance for injury management and safety
