As a Care Manager at Gracepoint Wellness, I have been working for over two years to provide compassionate and effective counseling and support services to individuals and families facing mental health crisis. I am working on my Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, and I am passionate about helping people overcome their personal and emotional difficulties and achieve their wellness goals. I have developed strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills, which enable me to collaborate with other professionals, assess the needs and strengths of each client, and design and implement personalized care plans. Prior to joining Gracepoint Wellness, I gained valuable experience as a Swim Instructor at Moraine Valley Community College and a Merchandise Specialist at Petco, where I also learned how to interact with diverse populations, handle challenging situations, and deliver quality service.
