I work with a team to assist faculty, staff, and students with research projects and facility maintenance as well as maintenance of test infrastructure and robot systems. This includes software updates, sensor calibration, data collection and storage, hardware servicing, training, piloting, cleaning, organization, test apparatus and equipment design and ordering supplies. I also assist with data collection and testing on multiple projects with various robotic units.

I am an engineer who uses SolidWorks to create and model parts following injection molding constraints. I conduct market research and take into consideration cultural aspects for the company’s medical designs. I attend public relation events with the co-founders, attend meetings with key players for the business, have over 100 hours of clinical observation, and travel for on-site testingDuring the first two weeks of the covid 19 lockdown, Nonspec transitioned its injection molding projects over to the mass production of PPE for healthcare workers. We designed, tested, and mass produced face shields, sold at cost to hospitals and healthcare initiatives in multiple states. Our production winded down once larger corporations were able to catch up to demand for PPE, allowing us to pivot back to prosthetics.

Ensured smooth operation of an office space that catered to 25+ diverse small businesses operating within the space including upkeep and operation of a fabrication lab, prototyping services, secretarial work, guests management, supplies inventory, IT services, mail services, event setup and planning, waste management, cafe management, and sanitization of work spaces. During the covid-19 pandemic I came in daily to keep mail and other logistics up and running so that the small companies that rent from from the space could continue to operate remotely. I also helped to start an effort to create mass produced laser cut face coverings utilizing the Innovation hubs lab equipment. During this time I was also the only employee in the building and was responsible for its upkeep and security. While this was a part time position, I worked full time hours and often more without payed leave or sick time.

I worked along with other graders to assess student lab reports in a timely and consistent manner for an undergraduate engineering materials science course.

I worked with a team to perform tasks in a timely manner that included: handling and packing food product, cleaning dishes, moving and cleaning kitchen equipment, and disposing of trash. I also assisted in packing and moving during relocation.

I received an academic award in physics for creating experiments for use in freshman physics classes and for working one-on-one with students.

I empowered, taught, and supervised 4 teams of middle and high school students to design, build, program, and debug a Lego robot to complete missions for competition.
