Leading strategy for Cell & Gene Therapy

Instructs an average of 30 students in both undergraduate and graduate courses, Fundamentals of Medical Device Regulation and Medical Device Design I, respectively. In the first, I teach the basics of FDA regulation and how to navigate the process as well as global regulation to be aware of for products of any kind. For the second, I guide students through the Biodesign process (from needs findings, market analysis, IP, FDA, prototyping and design basics, and grant writing/funding). I grade detailed homeworks on each topic and advise on group projects that reinforce the topics learned.
