About Brendan Mccue
I'm a fifth year student majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Biomechanics at the University of Florida. I decided to pursue a career in BME because I am passionate about utilizing clinical engineering design concepts to solve medical problems and improve patient outcomes. Since September of 2018, I have been involved in the UF student organization GRiP, working to provide assistive technologies for individuals with upper limb differences. I am also a member of UF's Dream Team Engineering, designing 3D-printed heart models for educational use at UF Health Shand's Hospital. I am currently looking for internship and research opportunities in order to apply my knowledge of engineering concepts towards positively impacting the lives of patients.
