Project Manager (PM) Experience • Managed 4 projects worth $50,000 to $4 million. Lead 6-10 engineers and architects from Dewberry and 2-4 sub-consultant firms as part of each design team. • Wrote design specifications for HVAC and Plumbing trades. Knowledgeable of NYC building code and ASHRAE energy, ANSI, ASME standards. • Assisted in writing the fee proposals for several projects up to a value of $5.5 Million. • Responsible for logging submittals, coordinating meetings, and responding to review comments.Proposal Writing• Lead a team of 3 engineers in writing the 10 page technical section of an IDIQ contract proposal to inspect, upgrade, and maintain MTA/NYCT infrastructure. Total contract value $100 Million. • Created the cost proposal for a $75 million IDIQ proposal to repair and improve resiliency of MTA infrastructure. Obtained and coordinated financial information for Dewberry and 17 sub-consultants.• Wrote various other letter proposals for smaller projects delineating proposed scope, schedule, and cost. Mechanical Design and Construction Administration • Performed HVAC load calcs and energy analysis in Carrier HAP for several large commercial buildings.• Served as assistant mechanical engineer on an energy performance contract to modernize the base building HVAC system for two 20 story academic buildings in the CUNY system. • Assisted in the design of large-scale natural gas generators throughout NY. Generators connected to utility gas and electric mains to provide sites with partial grid independence as part of NY’s resiliency initiatives.• Member of design team for multiple solar power systems (100kW-1MW).• Completed in-depth field surveys to retrofit energy efficient mechanical design for a LEED silver Federal Office Building project in Puerto Rico. Also worked as assistant mechanical designer on this project.• Served as “BIM Model Manager” in Revit Software for a large 500,000 sq. ft. office design.

• TABs utilize a building’s thermal mass for radiant heating and cooling by piping water through PEX tubing imbedded in the walls, ceiling, and floor of the building• Lead assistant in writing past and current grant proposals for the building of a TABs house• Used the programs Autodesk Revit and Inventor to create designs and schematics for the proposed house and a new Stony Brook invention called a Hydronic Solar Wall (HSW), which is an energy independent, chemical free, water heater for the TABs system.• Designed a lab to test building and HSW design to create an empirical model capable of estimating the amount of water and flow rate though the TABs system and HSW needed to transfer a desired amount of heat to the space.
