I am the Pre-Sales Solutions Architect for BridgeHead Software Ltd (EMEA). I have been with BridgeHead since 1998, performing several roles including Training Development Manager, Support (EMEA) and Pre-Sales support (USA). Prior to migrating to the UK, I worked as a Software Engineer with Foxboro in Sydney implementing and testing complex control systems for national power grids, oil pipelines and transport systems. In my current role, I develop innovative solutions for Healthcare Data Management with the goal of true digital transformation. My major interest is Healthcare Data Management. In particular, the storing and protecting of large amounts of unchanging data such as digital imaging. Points I consider include: ease of access; DR & BC; platform migrations; proving data integrity and cost.My overriding goal is to turn this data into an asset by enabling appropriate sharing. This is becoming increasingly important as healthcare systems struggle to care for an aging population with a shrinking workforce. There is great potential for using this data both clinically, providing better patient care, and in research, providing better population health. I collaborate with customers and industry professionals to navigate the several technical, commercial, governance and ethical obstacles to achieving digital transformation.I have a broad range of skills including technical knowledge of: infrastructure options (on-premise, cloud and hybrid); healthcare data characteristics; healthcare data standards and protocols; clinical practices; and healthcare trends; I pride myself on my ability to understand complex problems and communicate solutions to the various stakeholders.Away from work, I enjoys dinghy sailing (where I coach juniors), cycling, travelling, and reading.I hold a Bachelor of Computing (Robotics and Digital Technology) from Monash University, a Certificate of Technology (Electrical) from Collingwood TAFE and Certificate of Computer Field Service from RMIT
Listed skills include Storage, Technical Support, Cloud Computing, Salesforce.Com, and 26 others.
