Prior to joining Realogics Sotheby's Int'l Realty in October 2012, Brenda founded Prowse and Company in 1998 and operated it as an independent brokerage for nearly 15 yeara. She has been a full time Realtor in Poulsbo since 1979. In the past 15 years she has listed and sold over 800 homes and has no doubt sold more listings in that period than any other active agent in Kitsap County. In addition to being a licensed broker, she is a Graduate of the Realtor's Institute and the Howard Brinton Star Power Real Estate University. In 2006 she earned her Certified International Real Estate designation (CIPS.) She has been selected (for the sixth time) as one of Seattle Magazine’s Five Star Agents—Best in Client Satisfaction—for 2012. In 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 she was voted "Best Realtor in North Kitsap." Recently she received her certificate for completion of Lead Experience, a course for entrepreneurs who want to take their small businesses to the next level. She has been a top selling agent in Kitsap County for more than 30 years and has won numerous sales awards. In the autumn of 2012 Brenda joined Sotheby's International Real Estate in order to have a team of experts handle her business while she and her husband, Hugh Nelson, live in Paris for the year of 2013. Mark Middleton of Sotheby's International Real Estate is Brenda's partner in the Prowse Group. Brenda holds a BA in Education from Eastern Washington University (1972).
