I guide chemical research projects by designing thoughtful analytical experiments which yield insightful chemical trends. I deliver robust analytical data to support the discovery of new materials, optimization of chemical synthesis, and investigation of chemical process issues.Chemical testing laboratories are often difficult to navigate due to the highly specialized nature of analytical methods. While I have consistently developed expertise in Raman and IR spectroscopy, my most valuable contributions have drawn from my broad knowledge of analytical techniques. Whether I am using supporting data (i.e. XRD and BET) to understand trends in spectroscopy data (i.e. surface acidity) or I am curating an analytical strategy for a project team, I am always eager to grasp the big picture of the chemistry. When faced with a chemical question, I build on my analytical instincts by consulting with subject matter experts and journal articles, and develop a coherent story from the data, which will address a research hypothesis. I strongly believe that collaboration across analytical specialties can unlock significant value from research efforts.I recently moved to New Jersey with my family. I am actively seeking a career opportunity at a vibrant chemical research laboratory.
