In this role I built a migration engine for SharePoint online, SharePoint on-prem and network share content sources, to SharePoint Online and Teams using PowerShell, Azure SQL, and ShareGate. I produced documentation and training for the migration teams on engine usage and migration troubleshooting.I also built a SharePoint site post provisioning process in Azure Functions leveraging Azure DevOps, Terraform and PowerShell.

The new fixed price SLAs also provided stability to the business, our technical staff and evened out the general lumpiness of support work.

As the sole systems administrator at Gracelands I was responsible for all IT networks, servers, desktops across 15 remote sites and head office. I put in place the full Microsoft stack including Server 2012 R2 running on Hyper-v, Terminal Services, Exchange and SharePoint.I also maintained and developed their Lotus Notes databases and moved much of the business functionality to SharePoint 2010 using Infopath Forms and SharePoint Designer Workflows.

I started at Mark Two on the technical support team. My role was to proactively monitor remote servers for 20+ customers. I prepared monthly server status reports and resolved issues with the Infrastructure, Windows Server, Terminal Service, Exchange, SharePoint. I also maintained and extended the Microsoft Access database used to manage tickets and provided timesheet data for invoicing.I wrote a command line application to collect system information via C# and WMI. The app ran as a scheduled task and could alert on disk, memory and CPU issues. Statistics were automatically collated daily for addition to reports, massively reducing the time required for daily/weekly server monitoring.I was then contracted out for 10 months to Trust Power and worked on their support desk. Key roles included desktop support, server maintenance, new laptop and server builds, structured data cable replacement and tidy up.On my return to Mark Two I took on the role of Service Coordinator. I managed support ticket allocation and timely resolution, and ensured support staff had work booked.
