Includes project managing the quality of the delivery programs to ensure compliance requirements are met. It also includes managing the contractual obligations with our various offshore partners. The role also includes developing and managing the business relationship and maximising opportunities for market growth. The role also involves dealing with international delegations, foreign government officials and visiting foreign business leaders.

The Queensland TAFE Reform resulted in the formation of TAFE Queensland Brisbane. The combination of the the three Institutes (Brisbane North Institute of TAFE, Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE and Southbank Institute of Technology). TAFE Queensland Brisbane is recognised as one of the largest TAFEs in Australia. Portfolios were realigned across TAFE Queensland Brisbane to reflect efficiencies from the merging of the three institutes. The activities associated with my role include establishing industry networks, business development, managing the budgetary and human resource requirements for the respective teams, managing the integrity of the learning process, managing the compliance requirements, providing mentoring to workplace trainers and assessors.

EWS was the commercial department of Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE. It was structured as a standalone and autonomous department providing training responses to government and industry sectors. The role consisted of providing operational management and leadership expertise to a diverse range of delivery teams. This included meeting compliance requirements, managing budgets and human resource requirements. The role also included managing industry client relationships as well.

Transferred from BNIT to MSIT to design, develop and implement a unique business model to reflect the corporate strategy of MSIT. This included developing a bespoke online / blended Accounting program delivered by a flexible team to meet the needs of the accounting industry. This included project managing resource development and validation across the range of qualifications. The online/blended Accounting programs included the Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma qualifications. The Accounting Solutions Team offered finance and accounting training to a range of industry sectors through recognition of skills and customised training. The process included developing a unique way of capturing the required skills and knowledge that was required for the training. This unique process was then adopted by the Institute at the time. The business unit also assisted employers to access government funding (where applicable) to help with training costs. The team of highly experienced trainers and assessors were specifically trained to take in the needs of the employer and candidates.

During this period I had a variety of roles that included Teacher / Online Teacher / Corporate Trainer, as well as Program Coordinator roles.As a teacher, I delivered and assessed accounting qualifications up to the Advance Diploma of Accounting. I also took the lead in designing and developing online programs using the TAFE's learning management system for a range of accredited and non-accredited programs. As a corporate trainer, I customised and delivered finance and accounting training for corporate organisations as well the Diploma of Management to industry professionals. I pioneered the the delivery and assessment strategy for the Diploma of Business in China for the Institute, where I delivered the program in China to international students.During the same period, I was Program Coordinator for the Accounting programs (Certificate III to Advance Diploma). I also managed the Teacher Training program that included the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) for the Institute which included the corporate sector. In addition I also managed the Institute's offshore and international teacher programs. I also managed the compliance requirements (AQF and AVETMISS) and coached and mentored trainers and casual teachers.
