I also developed the intake system, based on the data model, now used by 5 Victorian Primary Health Networks and which is central to their delivery of Head to Help in their region. - Developed the technical standard for vendors providing clinical software to general practices, to submit data for the Australian Department of Health’s Practice Incentive Program – Quality Improvement. This standard was rapidly adopted by all major vendors, enabling general practices across Australia to submit data to their local Primary Health Network. - Initiated and set design approach (inspired by gov.uk) for Health Vital IT, a popular online resource for primary care providers and PHN staff to improve their IT and digital health. - Designed a system with a patient-friendly UI for collecting and reporting Patient Reported Measures.Responsibilities- Responsible for building digital health team and developing and running programs, primarily: Nellie (SMS-based persona for promoting patient self-care); POLAR (data extraction and analysis tool for general practice); Health Vital IT; My Health Record; VideoCall (video-consultation system). Feedback on the app from external stakeholders was that it was more useful than previous products.- Designed the process for use of PBS data in a legacy iPhone application. - Co-authored an environmental scan on pathology and the use of technology (including LOINC and electronic requesting and reporting).- Conducted human-centred design investigation of GPs’ needs during emergencies (to inform the design of a proposed mobile application).
