I am an image scientist who develops software and hardware to provide end to end solutions to challenging problems. Some of the most challenging problems facing both government and the commercial sectors are now for the first time becoming solvable through the use of remote sensing data. This data can come from a combination of sources such as imagery, video, or point sensors. My interests lie in applying the latests techniques (such as deep learning) to various data sources (such as hyperspectral imagery) to create useful answers. These approaches are a challenge to apply at scale and in concert with web based visualization techniques, but when performed successfully produce very intuitive and satisfying results.
