Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area

Manage and mentor Operations Control Center, Safety, and Technical Operations organizations in realizing first-ever achievements and major growth-enabling milestones for this independent regional airline with gateways in Florida, Southeast US, and Bahamas. Completed the operational integration of Seaborne Airlines and Silver Airways to operate under one AOC. Executive sponsor and project lead for ATR 72-500 Cargo Aircraft introduction for Prime Air service. Developed and implemented cargo program and hazardous materials program.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States

Primary liaison between the Operations Control Center, Commercial, Network Planning, and senior leadership in developing strategies and programs to advance business-related operations planning and execution processes. Led operational turn-around to achieve record on-time and completion factor performance in 2018, 2020, and 2021. Primary participant in the negotiation of both pilot and flight attendant union collective bargaining agreements. Negotiated contract for and transition to Navblue, establishing the carrier as the first US operator to utilize the software. Integral member of team that achieved first US certification of the ATR 42-600 and ATR 72-600 in 2019. Designed the procedural system that moved the OCC into compliance with SMS.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

Managed Operations Control Center with direct responsibility for Dispatch, Crew Scheduling, and Crew Planning while providing operational guidance to network planning group to improve aircraft efficiency, crew efficiency, and operational performance via flight schedule modifications. Facilitated transition to CFR 117 Rest and Duty rules in a compressed timeline. Automated communication from OCC to airport personnel and management, improving operational problem solving. Established enhanced operational KPIs, including new metrics used to review and improve operational performance.

Peachtree City, Georgia

Directed Operations Control, specifically OCC Dispatch, Duty Manager, Crew Scheduling, and Aircraft Scheduling functions, and served as primary point of contact for global customers and executive leadership during regular and irregular operations. Managed ACMI operations and schedules for Etihad Airways, Lufthansa Cargo, ANA Aviation, and Emirates SkyCargo. Established a remote OCC for operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for Saudi Arabian Airlines Cargo. Designed flight schedule and managed government approvals for launch of Finnair’s cargo program from Finland to China. Key and lead participant in bankruptcy negotiations for both pilot and flight attendant union collective bargaining groups.

Peachtree City, Georgia

Led scheduling and seasonal route development of all B-747, MD-11, and DC-10 full service/ACMI passenger and cargo flights. Collaborated with maintenance planning to schedule required heavy maintenance events, maximizing aircraft utilization, and working with the marketing department to ensure aircraft availability and suitability for short term and long-term contracts. Designed and implemented ATC slot management system to request and manage slots for global operations.

Led the efforts of Dispatch, Crew Resources, and Maintenance departments during regular and irregular operations to ensure the efficient day to day operation of fleet of MD-11 and DC-10 passenger and cargo aircraft. Modified aircraft schedules to maximize economy of the operation, avoid known operational problems, and address irregular operations.
