I started this job over a summer working one day a week in help desk, another in the parts room and the third day as a janitor. I was asked to come back part time after school to assist in the help desk role. I grew from there, learning how to troubleshoot basic computer issues and over 6 years, worked up to managing Active Directory, the Exchange server, the payroll and ERP servers and application. I also worked on a project to migrate the Exchange server and managed an IP migration from static IP address over to DHCP. Overseeing the network infrastructure and PBX system were also part of my job. This job provided me with an immense amount of growth and opportunities to learn.
