They recently launched the area's first & only industrial composting facility. They had a bunch of commercial-sized trucks moving landfill, recycling & composting materials from homes & businesses. They were locally owned. But not many knew about them. This combination is rare — an industry unicorn.My business development skills were flashing the alarm of opportunity. My promoter & marketing Spidey-senses were urging me to turn up the volume on sustainability. And if my past work occasionally (no, often) resulted in people getting trashed, it seemed as though it was time to start cleaning UP their trash. The era of eco-everything was upon us, and I wanted to usher that in for my city. So I said yes. And in 5 years, I've overseen a 10x in company revenue.But how do I do it?
