I am a Mechanical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in technical service and quality in the automotive OEM industry.For over two years, I have worked as a Quality Engineer in an engine assembly plant working with customers and suppliers to improve overall quality. I have more than seven years experience in Field Service and Quality reporting working in both New England and North Carolina. While in this role I have worked closely with engineering to improve product quaility as well as provided expert technical support for arbitrations and litigations. I also provided technical training to dealership personnel and OEM wholesale employees. Prior to that, I have three years experience as a Current Vehicle Service/Quality Engineer in the GM Wilmington Assembly plant. In this role I was responsible for field quality monitoring, failed part analysis, field technical support, and creating technical procedures and bulletins for field repairs. I have extensive experience working with suppliers to improve component and vehicle overall quality. Other experience include technical assistance engineer, product liability investigator, field engineering support, and four years co-op while working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tennessee.
