Brenton is an experienced social planner who undertakes social research and data analysis for a variety of projects, including demographic profiling, social impact assessment, social infrastructure analysis, housing market analysis and resilience strategies. He utilises GIS to undertake spatial analysis (ESRI and QGIS), and plans and undertakes stakeholder and community engagement, including drafting and designing communication materials for engagement activities (IAP2 accredited). Collectively, these skills are contributing to his emerging area of practice in community resilience that encompasses a broad range of work improving social outcomes in communities. Brenton holds a Master of Development Practice from the University of Queensland, covering topics on social planning, development planning, and international development, and has benefited from working with some of Queensland’s most highly respected social planning professionals. Brenton has worked on projects throughout Australia (in Queensland, Western Australia, NSW, Victoria and the ACT) for a range of local government, state government and private sector clients, and has demonstrated a capacity to contribute meaningfully to a broad range of projects.
