I’m a self-motivated, passionate developer who understands the most valuable skill is the desire to never stop learning. I believe people are the greatest asset to any company and put huge effort into always improving my communication, teaming and leadership skills.I spent the first 10 years of my career learning the importance of people, organization and communication. As a Project Manager and later a Manager I found joy in understanding the nuances inherent in complex processes, and the oftentimes immeasurable impact empathy has on a team. One of the most surprisingly rewarding experiences during these 10 years was having the opportunity to help others pursue their passions and reach their dreams. I am grateful for the first 10 years of my career as they were foundational in forming the professional I am today.My current venture has turned my passion of programming into my profession. As the lead developer and product manager for the multi-million user product, Typing.com, I enjoy breaking apart and solving complex problems - seeing the code I've written come to life. Now I'm coordinating with cross-functional teams, analyzing product trends, planning new features and delivering the best experience to our users!
