Managed Exxon Mobil COLONY Shale oil site. This site covers 9000+ acres of mountainous area with two oil shale underground hard rock mines. my job was to develope and maintain all procedures This included everything that was performed on the site. safety procedures, develop JSA'S, Work permits, Security of site, Risk base assessments, All Documentation of monthly reports. SPCC monthly reports, any first report of incidents. My crew did a lot of Road and ditch maintenance on Not only the COLONY property but most all of the Caurus oil and gas roads that surrounded the COLONY site. This also included winter maintenance of all the roads in this region. I also operated most all equipment to perform road and ditch maintenance and storm water management, including Water trucks, Motor graders, Dozers, Loaders, backhoes, excavators, Articulating rock trucks, skid steers. Over the years we have had anywhere from 6 employees all the way to around 30 employees working on the site. Other oil and gas companies used the main road up through the COLONY site and we had to keep the roads maintained for their use. This included Dust mitigation by watering the roads or even prepping the roads and laying down mag chloride to keep the dust down. I maintained all the Air sampler units for the site to monitor the particulates in the air.
