Responsible for part processing on various work cells for shaft products. Tasks include process prints, machine programs, and statistical studies. Six Sigma green belt with experience with Minitab statistical software. Machine controls known: Okuma and Fanuc related controls. Also responsible for capital purchases for new equipment. Processes known - conventional and CBN grinding including automation of grinding cells, green turning, spline shaping, spline rolling, spline hobbing, and milling/drilling in machining centers.Trained in Lean Manufacturing techniques including 5S, Kaizen, SMED (setup reduction), process flow, and value stream mapping. Responsible for Shaft process value stream current and future state maps.

Responsible for creating control plans for the production floor. Identifying and purchasing inspection equipment, and coordinating efforts in reducing defects through various quality tools such as 8-d, PFMEA, etc. Was also on the ISO committe which oversaw the yearly audit through an external registrar and organized an audit system that was used internal per requirements of the standard.

Responsible for creating and maintaning all process and tooling drawings for the shop floor.

Drafting and light product design work for off-highway universal joint and drive-line components.
