At Côte West, we marry Old World philosophy with a deep appreciation for California’s microclimates. We seek out special vineyard sites and use minimal intervention in the winery to highlight the unique characteristics of the source.

At Dogpatch WineWorks, we craft ultra-premium wines in small lots from the best of California's vineyards. We offer custom crush services as well as a private barrel program, through which we make single barrels of wine according to our customer's individual preferences. At this urban winery in San Francisco, I work on the day-to-day production of these wines. You will find me either in the cellar or in the lab at Dogpatch WineWorks.

- Graduate thesis: Bottle Shock -- The chemical and sensory effects on white wine during short-term aging and the use of different sparging gases at bottling.- Trained judges to sensorially evaluate wine.- Performed chemical analyses (VA, EtOH, pH, SO2, TA, browning, dissolved and headspace O2) to complement sensory data.

- Worked with all members of winemaking and vineyard team in the production of Premier and Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot noir. - Responsible for grape sampling, density readings, grape receival, grape pressing, juice racking, pumpovers, punchdowns, fermentation tank temperature management, chaptalization, barrel preparation, barrel filling, barrel fermentation management, nutrient additions, and barrel topping.

Responsible for cellar management tasks: sulfur and tannin additions; yeast, nutrient and bacteria additions for alcoholic and malolactic fermentations; various types of pumpovers; diatomaceous earth and pad filtering.

- Led a 21-person sales team managing $400M in advertising accounts in the technology, finance, automotive, industrial markets, and healthcare industries. Set individual and team goals, including sales targets.- Managed a global initiative to efficiently scale sales by integrating workflow across teams in India and the US.- Recruited, trained, and managed an elite group of analysts in India that grew to a 60-person team supporting 10,000 advertisers across North America, which represented $6B in annual revenue.- Selected for Google’s Ambassador Program, designed to share best practices across international offices. Relocated to Dublin, Ireland to train teams on internal tools, account management strategy, and industry research.

- Researched and drafted proposals for U.S. State Department-funded international exchanges.- Coordinated and facilitated U.S. study tours and professional training programs for emerging foreign leaders.- Maintained database of local resources, contacts, members, and donors.

- Tended bar while overseeing smooth functioning of 100-seat restaurant and resolving customer issues.- Coordinated staff schedules, maintained inventory and managed cash flows.

- Taught English, French, American Literature, photography, computer science, and environmental studies.- Designed and constructed a darkroom, library, and septic drainage field.
