As a project coordinator at JW Zunino my role is to develop all aspects of projects including site analysis, base plan prep, conceptual design, master plan development, planting and irrigation plans, construction documents, and client correspondence. Working closely with project managers has given me in-sight on how to work with clients ranging from public appointed employees, contractors, architects, commercial owners, residential owners, and maintenance crews.

As a night supervisor at Aggie Ice Cream my job was to ensure that Aggie Ice Cream gave the university, USU, a positive face. Many potential students and parents of students came to the shop everyday and in many cases we were the first view of campus that they had. My job as a supervisor was to ensure that my shift ran smoothly and it was also my responsibility to ensure that cash procedures were followed correctly.

As a student intern at LFDG my role was to take the conceptual pad and pencil drawings and create compelling visuals for our clients as well as progressing them to construction documents. At LFDG we heavily used the AutoCAD extension LandFX as well as used SketchUp for all of our projects. Landform Design Group specializes in residential design and as such I was able to learn how different the process designing residential spaces really is. Unlike in commercial and public jobs were a large part of the process is designing to legal requirements and the specific nature of the projects, residential projects are about selling a vision to the client. This process of selling a vision to the client is all about how you treat the client from the initial meeting to the final presentation. The primary job of an Ambassador for the College of Agriculture is to promote the College of Agriculture at Utah State University by visiting with High School seniors. This job is vital to the continual growth of the college. My role was to visit assigned high school classrooms as well as assisting in most large College of Agriculture events bringing information about what our college has to offer.
