I'm a small to medium sized business owner. Since graduating college in 1996 when I start my career I've been operating businesses. To which I was very successful making Presidents clubs and even winning Culligans very prestigious Emmett J Culligan award. In 2010 I quit my last job, moved home to Salt Lake and bought my first business. It was HVAC and plumbing. I grew it by about 350% and sold it in 2014. I was very proud of this growth as it was during the recession when home ownership was down.In 2015 I bought a digital marketing company. We grew that by about 250% over the eight years I owned it. Again I was proud of this because we were negatively effected by covid. The majority of our clients were for profit schools which were forced to lock their doors. But we persevered and came out strong.In 2018 I did a start up in online learning. Starting from zero. We heard what people needed and created a product to solve that need. It was a slow process as the sales cycle was in quarters so our feedback was slow. After two years we had captured the two largest platforms with exclusive rights to show our curriculum. In 2022 I purchased a used car dealership. It was a good buy during a very hard time in that industry.In 2023 I was looking to sell my marketing company and the buyer was a national company. When I disclosed I owned the online learning company they liked that as well so they bought both.I excel in understanding business models, building great teams, fixing or building systems and processes, and growing businesses. My passion however is mentoring people. I truly enjoy helping others grow and watching them succeed. Probably the thing that I'm most proud of is that six of my past managers now own their own businesses. That amazing.
