Responsible for creating efficiencies and opportunities for the Nationwide Commercial and Farm Property Claims organization to meet its operational and financial objectives.Built a Commercial Property managed repair program from the ground up. Authored the contract terms/guidelines and negotiated the terms with one of the largest restoration firms in the United States. Created innovative contract provisions to balance the interests of all stakeholders involved. Generated value for our customers, associates and the enterprise by providing Nationwide customers direct access to professional qualified restoration services following a qualified loss. Built a custom dashboard in Power BI to monitor the overall status of the program including assignment types, assignment volume, geographic location of the assignments, SLA tracking, financial impact, large loss tracking, associate usage, pending assignments, closed assignments etc.Built a new program for our Commercial Casualty teams to assist with the review of 3rd party property damage claims. Created the workflows, built and negotiated the contracts and delivered the program to our Casualty teams. The program has streamlined the review process for associates while preserving millions in enterprise resources.Implemented an audit review program for smoke, fire and water property losses. Highlighted the value of the program with claims leadership. The program continues to provide significant value for the enterprise and is on track to preserve approximately $7M in company resources in 2023.Negotiated new contracts with our Independent Adjusting partners reimagining how Independent Adjusting firms are compensated. The innovative new fee schedule places a value on estimate accuracy and reduces potential hazards associated with prior methods of compensation.

Actively managed the network of third party vendors for Commercial Property including five independent adjusting firms, two contractor networks and multiple other third party vendors that assist Nationwide Commercial in settling claims in various capacities. Developed a new third party claim inspection distribution model for the enterprise creating operational efficiencies and furthering the objectives of the enterprise. Utilized data analytics tools to evaluate the impact of the change and to provide support for the operational change. Provided leadership in rolling out the new model by presenting the new initiative to the Commercial Property Claims organization. Built custom dashboards with Power BI to monitor and drive performance of our IA firms, investigate operational performance issues and to support operational change.Renegotiated vendor contracts, eliminated non-performing vendors and highlighted underutilized third party services resulting in increased operational efficiencies and positive impacts on the Commercial Property Claims operational objectives. Built a custom vendor feedback tool which provides the ability for our associates to easily share their vendor experiences while allowing the comments and ratings to be aggregated and shared with vendors to highlight performance successes and opportunities.
