Scanning Electron MicroscopyLignin Based Polyurethane ResearchPrepared, observed, and measured 6 different foam samples of varying lignin composition by using a Denton Desk II sputter coater and Tescan MIRA SEM in order to study the microstructure of foam sample cells. Gained insight about the SEM, lignin based foams, and the research process by connecting with multiple professors and graduate students to create a more complete research project. Presented virtually at Mid-SURE by creating a video to compile my research and share my results. Adapted to conditions of COVID-19 by making the most out of the data collected and comparing the results with similar studies to draw reasonable conclusions.
