About Fredrik Larsson

➡I have spent the last 9 years on thin film solar cell research and development, an interdisciplinary field which involves chemistry, thin film technology, and semiconductor physics – an exciting mix!First, during my PhD studies at Uppsala University, I developed thin film materials and deposition processes for so called window layer structures in CIGS solar cells. During that time, my focus was on atomic layer deposition and contacting materials for thin film solar cells, but I also learned a lot about material science and characterization in general.I switched solar cell technology and started working with perovskite solar cells when I joined Evolar as an R&D engineer in year 2021. Now, I lead a team of perovskite and thin film experts with the task of developing perovskite solar cell technology and thin film deposition processes.
