Provide leadership, management, and technical support for all bakery plant operations. Responsible for the annual capital plan, the administration of the maintenance system, budget, ensuring environmental compliance, and the training and development of management and non-management personnel. Develop plant maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime, manage capital improvement projects. Conduct performance appraisals of the Maintenance management team and implement appropriate training programs to address developmental needs. Utilize the CMMS data to generate reports and implement actions to improve KPIs. Administer and audit all Maintenance safety control programs, and all the Maintenance environmental protection programs. Develop short-and long-term planning, objectives, programs, goals, and department budget and cost controls.

Direct operation of maintenance personal and contractors, on repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment daily. Conduct safety training and ensured compliance with all company policies, plant rules, regulations, and GMP’S. Responsible for ordering parts, tools, and ensuring inventory quantity is correct. Responsible for the monthly maintenance budget, monthly maintenance team members work schedule, and KPI reports. Champion of the Rever program for the Dubuque IA location. Oversee WO/PM program and ensured proper completions on all tasks. Coordinate with other departments for machinery and equipment schedules and tasks. Diagnose, repair, and install 3 phase electrical systems, PLC's, VFD's, HMIs/OITs, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and machinery. Design and fabricate modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions or to improve safety, quality, or equipment operation.
