Graduated from Cambrian College in 2016, following that, I worked as an Officer with Ontario's Youth Justice Division apart of the MCCSS. Where I became a defensive tactics instructor as well as a Crisis resolution team - tactical member. Working with high to extreme risk youth court ordered to a closed-custody facility. I was responsible for the health, safety and security of my facility, my co-workers and offenders. As a CRT tactical unit member it was my responsibility to respond to high-risk, high-stress and time sensitive occurrences in which the safety and security of an MCCSS closed custody facility, it’s officers and staff or other offenders was at risk. This would include situations such as offender stand-off’s with weapons present and riot occurrences. Following the completion of my Hardrock Common Core with NORCAT at Strathcona Mine just north of Sudbury, I was lucky enough to be taken onboard with Sofvie Inc., a risk mitigation platform that saves lives.As of August 2019 I began my transition into underground mining and have been working for Byrnecut Canada as an underground development miner.
