I'm a Wildlife Biologist/GIS Specialist, with a focus on Red-cockaded Woodpecker population monitoring and habitat management, and sustainable forestry. I regularly create map products and geospatial tools to support wildlife and forestry projects here at Raven, including online mapping solutions. I am particularly interested in how advanced image processing, remote sensing data (often UAS-captured), and geospatial analysis can be used to answer novel questions in natural resource management. Some other major areas I work in (past/present) include forested stand inventorying, prescribed burning, and avian and herpetological population monitoring.
