Students will also benefit from the course’s regional focus, with an overview of the history of cannabis in California and the state’s track-and-trace system for cannabis products from plants to consumers’ hands.While this course does not provide job placement services, the content has been designed by industry professionals who understand the skills and knowledge needed to work in the cannabis industry and enhance marketability.Developed and taught by cannabis industry leaders, the course will extensively cover the cannabis industry as overseen statewide by the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) and locally under area-specific municipal ordinances.This eight-week course that covers all sectors of the industry from cultivation to retail and was developed in partnership with the Long Beach Collective Association

With my role as an intern in Network P&A I get to work with a world class team of Network Analysts, Architects, and Project Managers. Being an intern definitely has its inherent limitations but with my prior experience I am still an active member of the team. My responsibilities at this time involve configuration of layer 2 and 3 network devices among others. Attended and participated in network design and planning meetings which include our domestic and global teams and locations.Participated in IP addressing and subnetting.Developed network fail over and disaster recovery solutions.Job shadowed in the areas of Network Operations, ETS Server Management, Solutions Architecture, Technical Project Management, and IP Telephony.Accompanied a Lead Analyst to a Gypsum plant on the West coast for a LAN upgrade and refresh and was able to provide value by using skills learned to telnet and SSH around the existing network, discover configurations, and then apply the necessary information to updated scripts on new equipment for deployment. I was tasked with physically replacing switches on the production network and in the plant as well. Seeing the physical environments our equipment is located in gave me a better understanding of how to effectively plan and design networks going forward. Involved in a QoS project for a large group of WAN routers. I have been working with Network Analysts from other locations to identify routers that need IOS upgrades or are ready to have new QoS standards applied.
