About Brett Melvin

In January of 2011 ideas were first being put to paper for Crossing Borders- The Adventure Travel Company. After careful planning and 5 months of hard work we opened our hearts to the water and set sail from Cortes Island- this is where the journey begins.Our achievements during our first summer we owe in part to the partnerships we have created with local businesses on Cortes Island. In particular we would like to recognize the Gorge Harbour Resort and Marina for their support. As well to the Crossing Borders team and the creative minds behind some of the most exciting and challenging, multi-sport, sea kayak touring of today.The future holds promising new adventures for Crossing Borders.
