I am a Chartered Accountant who having spent nearly 8 years in practice, have taken a Chief Financial Officer role with an exciting private business in the agricultural space, based in Clare, South Australia.From a finance perspective, my role encompasses financial & operational reporting, budgeting & forecasting, stock management & procurement, as well as management of foreign exchange exposures. By virtue of the above, I also manage our international business partner relations (all currently European) and play a key role in managerial decisions and the strategic direction of the business. My years of accounting practice experience has provided me with strong analytical skills and an ability to work with a variety of members within an organization to achieve optimal outcomes and performance. My philosophy towards business is holistic; I enjoy understanding the fundamentals and key drivers of any business far beyond just the numbers. I have had the privilege of working across many industries with Health, Property, Investment, Building, Agriculture, Events & Accommodation Management being a few of the prevalent ones. I embrace challenges and enjoy nothing more than working with motivated people towards common goals.
