This job was and still is very important to me. I first was given the job as a sophomore in high school. I remember my first few months working at this job I was young, quiet, and disconnected at times. I even at one point ran into a miscommunication with my manager. This moment not only taught me that I needed to have more realization but also guided me to where I am today. My manager was not happy with me and I had to earn his respect back. I was not only taught a great life lesson because of this minor mistake but it made me a stronger person and valuable asset to the company and led me to becoming a mentor for others in my specific job category.

During my tenure with this company, I met and collaborated with many colleagues from differing backgrounds. My job included working in the Information Technologies field. I worked behind multiple professionals who each combined at least 15 years of experience in this field. I was very thankful to be given this opportunity as I got to have real hands-on experience and got to see what exactly people in this profession do. It was uncomfortable at first as many of the people I was working with were much older than me and way more experienced than I was but I quickly adapted to this environment and became a valuable asset to the team.
