Leading a large team at a rapidly growing 503B pharmacy focused on providing quality medications to patients across the United States.

Led a health-system home infusion pharmacy providing patients quality infusion therapies under the guidance of USP 797 in the comfort of their homes.

Completing rotations at a large teaching hospital in pharmacy finance, medication safety, business plan development, quality & regulatory, local operations, pharmacy information systems, leadership, supply chain, lean performance improvement, a direct patient care rotation in oncology, and serving as the preceptor of practice management for five PGY1 residents. Committees served on include the event classification committee and the pharmacy leadership council at the hospital, as well as the practice advancement leadership team composed of all administrative residents and corresponding directors of pharmacy across the state of Wisconsin under the guidance of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin. Experiences include being pharmacy leader on duty, reviewing and creating pharmacy policies and procedures, assessing pharmacy technology at various points throughout the medication use system, review medication incident reports, participating in pharmacy budgeting cycle, developing staffing models to meet productivity, and completing regulatory audits to meet Joint Commission standards and state agencies, collaborating and presenting a transitions of care webinar to Wisconsin Hospital Association and Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin members, and developing a new service line delivering prescription services and ambulatory care pharmacist services to patients at a new clinic.

Completed direct patient care rotations in internal medicine, critical care, infectious disease, ambulatory care, and pediatrics in a large teaching hospital. Other rotations included drug information, teaching certificate, informatics, practice management, clinical management, and operations management in addition to serving on the antibiotic subcommittee and the pharmacy & therapeutics committee. Experiences included participating in multidisciplinary rounding, performing pharmacokinetic and warfarin dosing, presenting patient cases, leading topic discussions, precepting students, and completing a year long research project.
