Two more bays are being completed in 2022.• Led detonator department project with added automation and redesign of building, reducing cost by $3.40 per detonator for savings of $1.22M per year and additional capacity of 30,000 units per month.• Implemented supply chain modules within ERP system to enhance planning and purchasing for all units, reducing lead time and cost of outsourced materials.• Implemented training programs that included development of written manuals and process visual instruction at manufacturing and assembly workstations. Initiated apprentice program for machine shop in U.S. to develop internal machinists. • Spearheaded safety initiatives that produced two years of zero injuries for manufacturing plants. • Participated with other business units to improve processes and worked to integrate requirements of their mechanical component needs if possible.
