Brett Walker has over 24 years of land development experience specializing in land acquisition, investment and entitlements in the greater Houston area. As the President of Parkside Capital, Brett manages the real estate strategy and activity of the company using the firm’s three $150 million equity funds and has overseen Parkside’s development of many major projects in the Houston region. Prior to Parkside, Brett served as the Director of Real Estate for the Gustafson Group where he oversaw the day-to-day real estate operations including the company’s land, retail and office property portfolios as well as the equity investments of the firm. Brett has directed the capital investment of more than $500 million in real estate acquisitions and has overseen the development of over 5,000 acres resulting in value creation of over $3 billion over the course of his career.
