Primarily focused on the management and support of projects involving Kaman’s core product groups. This includes direct technical and sales efforts, and coordination between engineering solutions team, account managers, inside sales, and manufacturing representatives. Also responsible for providing clients with innovative productivity solutions. This is achieved through the use of software and hardware to control, monitor, alarm, and report overall performance indicators. Products and hard skills include: Networking of industrial microprocessors (use of Modbus, CAN, wireless networking, etc.); implementation and live troubleshooting of PLC’s, HMI’s, servo controllers, and VFD’s; recording and reporting data for efficiency and diagnostic purposes.

Rochester, New York Area

Responsible for the management and development of Machine Control projects in the Upstate-NY region. This is achieved by working closely with fellow team members to drive machine control sales strategy, penetrating new markets and accounts, and identifying/securing pull through sales in other business segments.

Experience included: Trained extensively in motion control systems—including motors, controllers, drives, PLC’s, feedback devices, actuators, and sensors; hands on experience designing, troubleshooting, and tuning servo systems; established as a direct point of contact for customers from a technical support, sales, and/or purchasing standpoint

Evaluated and implemented actions to improve overall production operation efficiency. Statistically analyzed former process controls and presented solutions to optimize cost savings. Worked with management and production floor workers to diagnose root cause of damaged or contaminated product.

Worked under Quality Manager to remodel Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and document proper operational practices. Carried out production floor time trials and tested standard procedures to ensure accuracy.
