I have been an artist all my life. It has been my entire focus. I don't have kids and my wardrobe consists of black T-shirts and jeans. So I don't have to think about anything other than art.You might say that's selfish. I call it passion. To make art, we artists have to generate a truckload of energy. Even AI art needs power. It helps if the work is fun. A few years ago, we dumped the big cameras (RED etc) and switched to iPhones. It has been a steep learning curve but I'm having more fun than ever.And our work and images just keep getting better.We only have a handful of Clients.They're all awesome and are great friends.We have no desire to conquer the world. Or to X the business.All we want is to just do better every day. Background. I did my cadetship in journalism on the Manly Daily. I was graded as a sports reporter by the Daily Mirror where I had the great honor to work under the legend Peter Frilingos as a rugby league reporter and Ian Hanson. I moved into TV, joining Simon Townsend on Network Ten as a Reporter and helping win five Logie awards for Wonder World!I founded my own production company - A Couple A Cowboys - and cut the ‘advertising agency’ out of the whole creative process, winning the Australian, Thailand, and eventually New Zealand tourism accounts DIRECT. Won a stack of awards and increased NZ’s inbound tourism by 10 percent.I invented, illustrated, and marketed OZ QUIZ, BRIT QUIZ, DARE The Video Board Game Nightmare, and ATMOSFEAR with partners Village Roadshow. Lived and worked in LA shooting ads on and off for a decade. Returned home in 99 to found Propvid and PlatinumHD which we built into a franchised network so big it literally gave me cancer! Stage III bowel.18 months of intense radiation, operations, and chemo.It was fun and we met more awesome people. But they relegated us to the back of the chemo ward because we were laughing too loudly. And that was that. I have been in remission now for over 6 years and see the world through very different eyes.My awesome Producer is my wife of 16 years - Linda AKA The Pone - and we work out of a Ford Transit TE high roof, long wheel base van which went through a two-year $250,000 conversion to a mobile SMART film studio.Thanks for reading .
