Before joining the Royal Australian Navy my background was a Heavy duty Plant Mechanic / Diesel Fitter / Hydraulic Fitter working on heavy duty mobile plant/earthmoving equipment. My experience include working on Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Terex and Liebherr machinery. My core trade is a certified Heavy duty Plant Mechanic. Throughout the course of my career I have gained more qualifications. I am now a qualified Electrician and Refrigeration Technician with extensive Marine experience. .I am self-managed, safe person with the ability to problem-solve in my given duties. I am reliable, punctual and have the ability to work both within a team setting or work independently. I am always looking to improve and implement new processes for higher efficiency. I have technical skills in multiple areas including Marine, Mechanical and Electrical. I am looking to a secure a position in the Marine Industry as a Marine Engineer Class 3.
