I create images that connect people to nature on a level that goes deeper than surface beauty. My process involves photographing subjects in their natural environment and using that environment to provide a deeper understanding of the subject’s relation to it. Research is an important part of my work to develop an understanding of my subjects beyond common name. Through social media, writing and public events I share this knowledge in an easily accessible format.Beyond photography, my diverse background in technology and instruction gives me a unique set of skills to tackle challenging photography projects.
