I am currently employed with ASL Environmental, based in the UK midlands, as an Assistant Geo-Environmental Engineer. I bring many years of geological and environmental training to this role. I achieved multi-award winning and record-breaking attainment in my joint honours Biology and Geology degree. This allowed to me pursue a PhD in carbonate geology regarding the impact of climate changes on marine ecosystems and environments, based in Malta. I proudly secured funding for this research from the International Association of Stratigraphers (IAS) and the Micropalaeontological Society (TMS). I developed a role as a teaching assistant at the University of Derby into an Associate Lecturer’s position in which I supervised students, lead classes and practical sessions and taught on fieldwork excursions. I proudly worked for almost 8 years, up to 2024, in the gambling industry at Mecca Bingo, progressing from a Team Member to a very rewarding Team Leader and Duty Manager role.
