I started my career in the mental health field in 2009 as a Direct Support Professional and became a manager in a few short months. For over 14 years, I have been involved with the operation of specialized residential adult foster care homes in various supervisory roles. I have overseen licensed and unlicensed settings, CLS and Respite Programs, Auto Insurance, Skilled Nursing, In Home Private Care, and Applied Behavior Analysis Programs for two large Contract Provider Agencies in Michigan. I have also built working relationships with Insurance Companies, The Veteran Affair, and 17 Community Mental Health Agencies, covering 29 counties in Michigan. I have extensive knowledge of State Licensing and Regulatory Affairs compliance, CARF accreditation, and Home and Community Based Services compliance. In 2022, I transitioned to the role of Technical Operations and Compliance Manager and successfully implemented the launch of an EHR/eMAR system as the company moved towards the digital future. I founded eCare Plan Builders in 2023 to assist organizations in enhancing their existing systems, adopting new systems, and achieving compliance in all domains while saving time, money, and resources as they transition to the digital era.
