Brett W. Roper, CFP®, AIF®, received a Bachelor of Science degree focused in Family Financial Management with a minor in Business from Virginia Tech in 2004. Brett received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation from the CFP Board in January of 2008. Also in 2008, he earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. He is a member of the Financial Planners Association of the National Capital Area.Mr. Roper joined the firm in 2004.Trust is the cornerstone of the client-planner relationship. Brett believes trust needs to be established in the very beginning and maintained throughout the relationship. At Rembert Pendleton Jackson we embrace the term Fiduciary and hold ourselves to those high standards everyday.Brett specializes in the different areas of comprehensive financial planning including retirement and estate planning, cash management and education funding projections, and insurance needs analysis. He specializes in assessing client goals and risk tolerance and constructs portfolios with the appropriate application of modern portfolio theory investment processes.Brett grew up in the Fairfax area, and currently resides in Vienna, Virginia with his wife Laura and son, William. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and volunteering in his community.
