I worked to manage and maintain all of our equipment that provides both Phone and Internet services to our customer base. Daily tasks involved setting up services for new customers, turning on or off customer services, installing new equipment as required and general maintenance of our existing equipment.

As a Install and Repair Technician my responsibilities were to install and troubleshoot customer's DSL, telephone, and video services. I was also in charge of maintenance and upgrades to our existing copper and fiber optic telecommunications lines. The job required good troubleshooting techniques and communication skills, as well as knowledge of fiber optic splicing and cable fault locating.

As a Help Desk Technician I was part of a team that helped to support customer issues with hardware, software and networking related issues through inbound technical support calls. The job required good troubleshooting techniques and logical though processing to be able to walk the customer through over the phone and resolve a variety of different issues.
