At The Trevor Project, I collaborate with a team of crisis services associates to create and implement training and coaching programs for volunteer counselors who provide life-saving support to LGBTQ+ youth. I also ensure that volunteers adhere to policies and protocols, achieve performance goals, and increase engagement. With the help of my colleagues, I have developed clinically informed suicide prevention and crisis counseling workshop curriculum, coaching sessions, and educational materials that have enhanced the quality and effectiveness of our services.I have a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California, where I learned how to apply social justice, human rights, and evidence-based practices to address the needs and challenges of diverse communities. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Covenant College, where I developed an interest in mental health and wellness. I have previous experience in providing direct service, leadership, and administrative support in various social service settings, such as group homes, family therapy, and wellness products. I am passionate about pursuing healing in communities through collaboration, reconciliation, and resource development.
