After double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Physics at UNCC I founded a sustainable engineering startup, performing R&D on a sea water desalination system of my design. After 4 years of successes and setbacks, I found new and exciting opportunity in Corning Inc. where, at the world's flagship optical fiber manufacturing plant, a dynamic engineering role was created to engage my diverse experience and skillset. This was the perfect compliment to my prior work and I'm proud to have accomplished and learned a great deal there. Since parting with Corning, I have undertaken a number of personal and entrepreneurial pursuits, including an MBA at Duke University. I'm so excited to continue compounding the wonderful experiences and connections I've made thus far with whatever lies ahead. I relish the dynamic, and often ambiguous, environments of business and design. Ingrained in all of my business and engineering endeavors is my deep desire to contribute to innovation that brings us closer to a sustainable and equitable world.
