Brian is a Senior Managing Associate and Senior Project Manager with over 18 years of experience in project entitlements, urban planning, and preparing environmental documentation compliant with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). He is skilled in tracking and ensuring project compliance with conditions of approval and local, state, and federal agency coordination. He is experienced in project management, quality assurance/senior review, research, analysis, and the preparation of all levels of CEQA and NEPA documentation for a wide variety of project types, including sports arenas, mixed-use/urban infill projects, large-scale residential and specific plan developments, industrial and commercial developments, parks, medical facilities, waste management, water and wastewater infrastructure, and coastal development projects. In addition to serving as Senior Project Manager at ESA, Brian is also currently serving as the Sports, Entertainment, Culture, & Hospitality Submarket Leader at ESA. Brian has lent his expertise in the environmental review process and knowledge of the environmental checklist issues to the preparation of various impact analysis sections. In addition to his analysis and documentation efforts, he often works in capacity of project director or project manager. Brian is also knowledgeable in the requirements and analysis of air quality, climate change, and acoustics and has previously prepared Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
