I possess over 20 years working in the Quality arena within regulated industries including: Food, Dietary Supplement, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical, and Agricultural Genetics. I worked for USANA Health Sciences, Inc. for the last 25 years and spent the last seven as the head of Quality with the title Executive Director of Quality. In March of this year my position, along with others, was eliminated through a reduction in force action due to a significant decrease in revenue over the past several years. I now find myself optimistically looking for new opportunities and am enthusiastic about sharing my expertise with the right organization. I am seeking a position in senior management with an organization that I can help overcome challenges and grow. I am able to relocate for the right position and ultimately hope to find my next and last position with a family/friendly environment.In my former role as Executive Director of Quality I provided leadership, collaborated, managed resources, mentored, implanted LEAN processes, and oversaw compliance. I was accountable for Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Compliance. I have overseen countless projects and corporate initiatives that have increased efficiency, enhanced quality, and supported manufacturing. I am an experienced auditor of the pharmaceutical, food, raw material, componentry, and dietary supplement industries. Areas of accountability included: Document control, change control, specifications, SOPs, BPR, stability, annual product review, efficiency monitoring and KPIs, process and equipment validation, inspection, analytical / physical / micro testing (onsite), method development, OOS, customer complaints (global), SAER, CAPA, deviation, release, MRB, Audit (internal and external), 3rd party audit (FDA, TGA, USP, NSF, SQF, KFDA, Health Canada), PCQI, budget, Kosher, Halal, pest control, environmental monitoring, PLM, ROIs. and Capex acquisition.
