Black Parrot is an open-source, RISC-V, accelerator host multicore processor described in SystemVerilog. Reduced the area of the iterative division module of Black Parrot by 20% and reduced power usage by 15% while keeping the latency of the divide operation constant. Implemented various Branch Predictor designs for Black Parrot in C++ and SystemVerilog and performed analysis on prediction accuracy in relation to storage cost, trace length, and branch type.

Wrote C/C++ and LabView FPGA software to read and control suite of sensors and actuators for TMS. System software monitored and controlled operating conditions for the Thermal Management System (TMS) of a high-energy laser mounted to an Army Vehicle. Leveraged object-oriented programming to make software flexible to Thermal Systems for many programs.

Created a laser designator prototype by integrating sensors, lasers, and video with a Raspberry Pi. Designed a PCB board with voltage step-down circuits, power enable circuits, and reverse battery protection in Cadence Allegro to supply power to all the subsystems of the designator prototype. Delivered design reviews enumerating system requirements, system architecture, and verification methods.

Mounted Raspberry Pi to drone and configured hardware to collect cellular data from an attached SIM card. Developed a machine learning model in Python to determine whether a SIM card is being used in a drone using only cellular data parameters collected from the SIM. Prototyped ability to identify T-Mobile's regular cell customers in need of Drone-specific Data Plan.
